Order Processing Procedures

On receipt of an order a quotation will be emailed to the customer giving availability of the book, freight/postage charges and net amount payable to which the customer has to reply as a confirmation of the order. Order is processed only on receiving advance payment.

• Net amount will be calculated in rupees subject to the exchange rate at the time of placing the order.
• We offer free delivery within Pakistan but for overseas customers freight/postage is charged as per actual.
• Titles having territory restrictions for sales will not be processed for overseas customers.
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
• Delivery is subject to the availability of stock.

Payment Options

• Customers in Pakistan can pay by cheque/bank draft/pay order/credit card/cash on delivery.
• Overseas customers can pay by cheque/electronic money transfer/international money order in foreign currency equivalent to the invoice value in Pakistan rupees.

Cheque / Bank Draft / Pay Order

All Payments made through Cheque/Bank Draft/Pay Order should be in the name of ‘OXFORD UNIVERSITY PRESS’. Before making a Pay Order or Bank Draft or Cheque, kindly ensure that you have received the confirmation e-mail from Oxford University Press mentioning the item's availability & amount.

Credit Card (Online)

Direct payments can be made by using your Credit Card number. This is processed instantly, and is the fastest method for paying online. Bank Alfalah & Askari Bank Customers need to inform their respective Banks before making online transactions.

Cash On Delivery

Please note that this facility is only available for Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Abbottabad and for the following areas of Karachi. (Clifton, Defence, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, I.I. Chundrigar Road, Korangi, M.A. Jinnah Road, MT Khan Road, Nazimabad, North Karachi, North Nazimabad, P.E.C.H.S, Saddar). Kindly provide your telephone number to verify the correct address and our courier will deliver your order against Cash Payment

Credit Card/Cash Purchase through Oxford Bookshops

Customers are invited to visit our bookshops/showrooms and purchase against credit card or cash payment. For any other queries, including prices not available on the website, please write to our Marketing Department.

Delivery and Postage Information

Delivery within Pakistan

• OUP provides free delivery of books to its customers within Pakistan.

Delivery outside Pakistan

• OUP charges actual rates for delivery and postage outside Pakistan.

Please note that we cannot guarantee the stock availability of any order and some items may take longer than quoted.

Our delivery services may require a signature on receipt of the parcel. Our carriers may attempt delivery at any time between the hours of 10.00am and 5.00pm. We therefore advise that you provide a shipping address where you or a representative, can sign for delivery.
